This is another design which was inspired by the Tatted Alphabet and Numerals
series.
MATERIALS

Shuttle and ball thread

No. 20 Crochet Cotton
SIZE
3 cm
CENTRE

Wind the SH without cutting off from the ball thread.

R 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, do not RW.
-
R 4 DS, J to last P of previous R, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.

C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.

R 4 DS, J to last P of previous R, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, do not
RW.
-
R 4 DS, J to last P of previous R, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.

C 4 DS, J to P of previous C, 4 DS, RW.
Repeat from No. 5 to No. 7 three times more, in the process joining the last P
of the last R to the 1st P of the 1st R and joining the last C into the base of
the 1st R.
Finish ends.
OUTER ROW

Wind the SH without cutting off the ball thread.

J to free P of any R, making sure you are facing away from a corner.

C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, J to free P of next R, do not RW.

C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, J to free P of next R, do not RW.
Repeat 3 and 4 four times in total, J last C to base of 1st C and finish ends.
