Mini Heart

MATERIALS

• No. 20 crochet cotton
• Shuttle and ball thread
• Paper clip
• Hook for joining

SIZE

• 1 cm wide by 1 cm high

This tiny heart is at present quite possibly the smallest anywhere!!

1. Wind about 1 yard of thread onto the shuttle, without cutting the thread between the shuttle and ball (this is a very generous estimate).
2. Slip a paper clip onto the thread.
3. C 10 DS, P, 2 DS, do not RW. The first stitch should be made firmly over the paper clip. Tighten and shape the chain which is forming the first half of the heart. RW.
4. R 4 DS, remove paper clip, J to the space left by the paper clip, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
5. C 2 DS, J to P, 10 DS, do not RW. Tighten and shape the chain to form the second half of the heart.
6. Shuttle thread join (downwards join) to the same space as the one to which you joined the ring. Finish ends.
