• Hook for joining

• 5 cm wide, 5.5 cm high

The letter V is worked in one go, you work the inner row first then carry right round to work the outer row. Start at the top right hand side.

1. R 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
2. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.
3. R 4 DS, J to last P of previous R, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
4. Repeat last R and C until there are five Rs and 4 Cs.
5. C 2 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.
6. R as before, do not RW.
7. R as before, RW.
8. C 4 DS, J to P of previous C, 2 DS, RW.
9. R as before, RW.
10. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.
11. Repeat last R and C until there are 5 Rs on the left hand side.
12. R as before, RW.
13. C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, lock J to central P of previous R, do not RW.
14. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, lock J to next free P, do not RW. Repeat this C five times in total.
15. C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, lock J to next free P, do not RW.
16. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, lock J to next free P, do not RW. Repeat this C five times in total.
17. R 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, J to base of 1^st R and finish ends.
