The letter T is worked in two sections, the top bar first and then the upright bar.

SECTION 1

1. R 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
2. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.
3. R 4 DS, J to last P of previous R, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
4. Repeat last R and C until there are 4 Rs and 3 Cs.
5. C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, lock J to centre P of previous R, do not RW.
6. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, lock J to next free P, do not RW.
7. C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, J to base of 1^st R and finish ends.

SECTION 2

1. Lock J to space above lock J on either side of central lock J C on top bar, as shown in illustration.
2. C 4 DS, J to P of adjacent C, 4 DS, RW.
3. R 4 DS, J to P of adjacent C on top bar, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
4. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.
5. R as before, RW.
6. Repeat last R and C once more.
7. R as before, RW.
8. C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, lock J to central P of previous R, do not RW.
9. C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, lock J to next free P, do not RW. Repeat this C twice more.
