• 3.5 cm wide, 5.5 cm high

The letter S is worked in two rows, the reverse in the centre is worked with split rings. The outer row winds round to one side of the initial to the point where it meets the other chains, then we need to rejoin to the other side to create the remainder of the chains. Start at the top and work down and round.
