This initial is worked in two sections, the left hand arm first then the right hand V shape is joined to it.
FIRST SECTION
- Wind shuttle but do not cut off from ball thread.
- R 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
- C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, RW.
- R 4 DS, J to last P of previous R, 4 DS, 2 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, cl. R, RW.
- Repeat Steps 3 and 4 four times in total, making a line of five Rs and 4 Cs.
- C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, lock join to central P of previous R, do not RW.
- C 4 DS, P, 4 DS, lock join to free P of next R, do not RW. Repeat this C four times in total.
- C 4 DS, 3 P sep by 4 DS, 4 DS, J to base of 1st R and finish ends.
SECOND SECTION
- Wind two shuttles CTM (Continuous Thread Method).
