MATERIALS

• No. 20 Crochet Cotton
  
• 2 Tatting Shuttles

1. Wind 2 shuttles without cutting the thread between them.
   
2. Fold the thread into a loop approximately half way between the shuttles. DO NOT START THE NEXT CHAIN WITH A LOCK STITCH!
   
3. SH1
   C 3ds, 2 p sep by 3 ds, 3 ds, do not RW.
   
4. SH2
   R 3 ds, long p, 3 ds, cl. r, do not RW.
   
5. SH1
   C 3 ds, 2 p sep by 3 ds, 3 ds, put Sh 1 through the loop formed to start the C, pull up into an SCMR (Self Closing Mock Ring). RW.
   
6. SH2
   C 3 ds, 3 p sep by 3 ds, 3 ds, RW.
   
7. SH1
   C 3 ds, p, 3 ds, J to adjacent p of SCMR, 3 ds, do not RW.
   
8. SH2 R 3 ds, J to long p of centre r, 3 ds, cl. r, do not RW.

Continue as set, joining 1st r to last r as illustrated.
