RESOURCES

Here are some useful links to other sites for the web designer.

This site is a massive resource with a lot of services for free guest books and other goodies you can add to your site. They also provide a huge resource of free clipart and other useful information for the web designer.

This site has been designed with children in mind but it's a very useful learning resource. There are some free scripts I haven't seen anywhere else - check out the Mouse Fireworks script which is very pretty.

Lots of free scripts here and a wonderful web forum - post in the Script Troubleshooting forum if you are having difficulty with something or post in the Wishlist if there's something you would like to do but don't know exactly how to go about it. You never know - you might get it!

The Virtual University Online is the oldest online school, with CEU credit courses in all sorts of subjects including HTML, Javascript and much more besides - it's not purely for the budding webmaster!

Here is one of the best lesson sites on the Internet - you can even learn ASP and CGI in Joe Burns' courses which are free.

This is a site offering many free javascripts, DHTML scripts and Java applets that you may use to enhance your site. Many are linkware.

A linkware site offering a vast resource of free web clipart.

Another site offering free courses in web languages including Javascript and HTML.

Look out for the free web design course and the free HTML 101 course on this site - the former is a 6 week course in designing an online diary and the latter is a 10 week course teaching HTML 3.2. Both are worth taking.
