Paint Shop Pro Users Group Homework

As a beginning Paint Shop Pro users, this week's lesson was a bit too much for me. I nearly drove my co-ordinator mad before realising that I needed to have the red cross showing over the spectacle sign next the layers I didn't want to see before I could select and fill!

As a consequence I haven't managed actually to do homework on it because it took so much time working out how to do layers and node editing. I still haven't really figured out what the Alpha Channel actually does or how to turn the line in the heart picture off, and my text refused to go in a curved line following the instructions - I had to turn the selection off, select the text editor, click on my freehand line and add the text as vector text before it would do it - and it refused point blank to put the text the right way round. I still don't know why.

Anyway, here is my first effort at vectors, node editing and layers from the instructions in the class - thanks, Prof, they were very clear. And I earned my certificate!
