We learned how to manage shapes and brushes, and some methods of making them this week. We also learned to use masks which was an absolutely fabulous lesson - I'd never understood them before!

First we studied making brushes and learned how to prepare them for sharing as download. First of all, we created some leaf and initials brushes and made pictures with them:-

Then we went on to make two brushes, one in class and one on our own. The picture on the left is one we made in class. The star on the right shows the one I made on my own - just click on it if you would like to download the brush, which is only 3.5 kb in size.

Next we went on to study shapes. Again I turned the same star into a downloadable shape and you should click on the image on the right if you would like it for your Paint Shop Pro. The picture on the left was done for homework using the star we made in class and the one I made.

Finally we went on to study masks - that was a fantastic lesson. I used a photo from my garden - here's the one done in class.

I then realised I had a whole lot of masks in my Xtras package - here's one of them.
