For my metal tubing I didn't know how to add the black spaces to make the ducting, and wasn't sure how to chop off the ends, but decided to try adding an adjustment layer. I played around with the hue until it was a soft gold, reduced opacity and changed the adjustment layer to Dodge. I also reduced opacity on the tubing layer. I think it looks even more metallic!
