Here are my exercises covering the creation of different types of presets and accessories for Paint Shop Pro 8.
First of all creating patterns. I created several different ones; if you click on the image you can download the pattern and use it in your own work.

And a picture of my pink tile created in the lesson, using one of my flood fill presets which will be fully described further down.
Next we had fun creating new brushes. I created several in the lesson using the instructions and also using the tube I created for Week 1. First of all the mouse brush from the clipart image provided by our instructor.

Next some brushes I created from tubes I made in Week 1.

And some shape brushes I created whilst playing.

The final brush above was created during the lesson but I used different settings as I preferred a more dramatic swirl effect.
Here are the gradients I created and again if you click on the image you can download the gradient.

For creating new presets I chose to use the tools though because of the size of the files I am not offering these for download. First I played with the Fill tool.
Match Mode - All Opaque, Blend Mode - Darken, Opacity - 53
Match Mode - Color, Tolerance - 0, Sample Merged checked, Blend Mode - Hard Light, Opacity 25
Finally I used the preset we created at the beginning of the lesson, combined with a preset which created Match Mode: Brightness, Tolerance 0, Sample Merged checked, Blend Mode Multiply, Opacity 25 - this one seems only to work on a white background though.
In addition to the presets created in the lesson, I created one for a new image, white background, Raster background resolution 72 pixels 16 million colours, then I created one which would let me zoom back to 100% and finally I created a preset for tubing images when you need to remove single pixels from round the edges to clean up. I have a feeling these will be very useful!
