Here is my work for the photo enhancement lesson of Week 2.
First of all, I used the black and white photos provided in the lesson.

Here's my example of the little animals using the Emboss brush, then Soften, then Blur Average, then a Gaussian Blur for the background. Next I sharpened the fur up and finally applied Noise before adding the frame from PSP8's collection.
I tubed the rose for this one myself and used Colorize and Hue/Saturation/Lightness to adjust the colours.
Next, one of my photos of the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Here I used Straighten and Perspective Correction before cropping and changing the colours of some of the statues!
Finally, one of my pictures from my visit to St Peter's in Rome. One of the major pieces of sculpture kept in the church is Michelangelo's Pieta and the moment when you enter the cathedral and turn right and there it is is heartstopping. My photo had a few problems which required Automatic Contrast Enhancement, Automatic Color Balance and Edge Enhancing Smooth. I also cloned out the window behind and to the right hand side. The picture was well cropped because the statue is behind glass and it bounced badly with the flash of my camera. I couldn't do much about the remaining glare over the bottom right but I don't think it affects the finished picture too badly. I framed it with a 30 pixel white border and applied one of my own Super Blade Pro presets, available for download at Gillie2tat's PSP Heaven.
