This week we learned to use pseudo selectors and so I decided not to use the templates as it seemed more appropriate to use this page for the work. These are easy to use but not well supported by current browsers so you may not see all of the coding as intended on this page. You should, however, see something! If you see that one paragraph's letters are slightly more widely spaced than the other's that is what is intended.
Pseudo selectors are used to make the first letter of a paragraph different, the first line of a paragraph different and to colour the links. There is a special pseudo selector which when your mouse hovers over the link you will see change color - this has become very popular on the World Wide Web. Please note, however, that if you are using Netscape Communicator 4 you will not see this effect.
