This week we started by learning inline styles. I got on fine with inserting a STYLE tag in a selector, and with the SPAN tag. Trouble started when I tried to use the DIV tag as instructed in the lesson.
Page 2 shows the class rules I applied. Here you can see the cascade in action - in the Table because there are embedded styles on the page they take precedence over the style rule set in the stylesheet except where the rule is not specified.
The next bit was really fun! We played with margins, align and float. I decided to use the picture of Jean-louis again and found it was possible to overlap him to create a wonderful effect!
