I'm making progress with the traycloth I am making for my mother which is a pattern from Mary Konior's bookTatting with Visual Patterns.There are now 54 motifs, it will eventually measure 10 motifs long by 8 motifs wide, and will be 16 inches long and 12 inches wide. I am using Coats Mercerised Crochet Cotton No. 40 - lovely to use. However the traycloth is now too big for my scanner and I don't know yet how to get Paint Shop Pro to join images seamlessly - apparently it can do that. I don't have a digital camera either and can't afford one at present so that's out.
It's beautiful but not easy to make. I will sew in the ends properly because although I use magic threads to finish off, often I find they tangle and don't pull through properly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
