I have made further progress with the traycloth I am making for my mother which is a pattern from Mary Konior's bookTatting with Visual Patterns.. There are now 45 motifs and it will eventually measure 10 motifs long by 8 motifs wide, and will be 16 inches long and 12 inches wide. I am using Coats Mercerised Crochet Cotton No. 40 - lovely to use. However the traycloth is now too big for my scanner - has anyone any ideas?!

It's beautiful but not easy to make. I will sew in the ends properly that are loose; I have had problems because although I use magic threads to finish off, often I find they tangle and don't pull through properly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
