This was the first time I tried the Powatomi stitch and of course I got it wrong. I was not sure eventually if I had finally got it right in my many attempts - we'll try again once I've gone through all the Daisy Chains - maybe I'll understand it then. Horace Goodhue's Indian Bead Weaving Patterns, of course! I think I may have slipped the needle into the wrong bead each time when going round but it produces quite a pretty effect anyway.
